Plantation drive held at Ahmadi School

ALIGARH  : The Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, Aligarh Muslim University organized a plantation-related programme under the national Ek Ped Maa ke Naam campaign.

A short audio-video clip was played to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the significance of trees., which was followed by a plantation drive under which teachers, students and staff planted saplings on the school premises, under the guidance of the Principal, Dr Naila Rashid.

The students of the school also participated in the National Students Paryavaran Competition online by contributing 10 seeds as a registration fee, reinforcing the importance of seeds and saplings in our ecosystem.

The newly admitted students showcased their creativity and art talent during the assembly, highlighting the importance of vegetables and promoting healthy eating habits.

Ms. Eram Fatima, the Event In-charge shared valuable insights and practical suggestions on environmental protection.

Dr Naila Rashid shared her valuable thoughts on the significance of trees and environmental conservation, emphasizing the environment’s role in shaping our positive emotions and overall well-being. She urged students to adopt environment-friendly practices and strive to make a positive impact on their surroundings.
