Plantation drive held at GPC Watpora, Bandipora

Bandipora: A plantation drive on the theme ‘Go Green’ was today organised by Government Polytechnic College (GPC) Watpora, Bandipora in association with J&K Forest Department within the college Campus here.

The event was kick-started by Principal Govt Polytechnic College Bandipora, Javid Iqbal Bhat and D.F.O Bandipora Shabir Ahmad Bhat.

The event saw participation from faculty of the college, Staff of Forest Department Bandipora besides huge gathering of students of the institute.

The Principal of the College stressed on plantation and conservation of forests and highlighted the importance of forest Cover for a sustainable future.

The D.F.O Bandipora applauded the efforts of the institute and stressed that efforts be made to promote the understanding and importance of expanding Green Cover among students.
