Plantation drives held across forest ranges on International -Forest day at Kulgam

Kulgam: On the eve of the International Day of Forests, Plantation drives were organized in forest ranges of Kulgam by Territorial Forest Division Kulgam, here.

Divisional forest Officer, Syed Wasim informed that this year on International Forest day which is being celebrated with the theme ‘Forest restoration a path to recovery and well-being’, plantation drives were conducted in different ranges of Kulgam.

He said these plantation drives were organized to rehabilitate the degraded forest areas.
