PM Modi addresses G20 Health Ministers’ meeting in Gandhinagar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that health is the foundation of life. Addressing the G20 Health Ministers’ Meeting in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Mr Modi said, the Covid19 pandemic has reminded us that health should be at the centre of our decisions and it has shown us the value of cooperation. He said we must be ready to prevent, prepare and respond to the next health emergency. This is especially important in today’s interconnected world. The Prime minister said, In India, the government is following an inclusive& holistic approach. He said the government is also expanding health infrastructure, promoting the traditional system of medicine, and providing affordable health care to all. Mr Modi further said the global celebration of International Day of Yoga is a testament to the universal desire for holistic health.
