New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi dedicates & lays the foundation stone of Cancer Hospitals in Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 6 other cancer hospitals at Berpeta, Tezpur, Jorhat, Darrang, Kokrajhar & Lakhimpur from Khanikar Field, Dibrugarh. PM inaugurated the Dibrugarh Cancer Centre at AMCH a little while ago.

He also laid the foundation stone for 7 more cancer hospitals at Goalpara, Dhubri, Nagaon, Golaghat, Sibsagar, Tinsukia & Nalbari.

A total of 17 cancer hospitals are being built in Assam with the joint initiative of Assam Care Care Foundation and Tata Trust at a cost of ₹ 4000 Crores.

Construction of Cancer Care hospitals at Guwahati, Silchar & Diphu is going on.
