PO IWMP Udhampur inspects Developmental Works

Udhampur: Project Manager Integrated Water Management Programme (IWMP), Udhampur Sapna Kotwal, along with field functionaries today visited Dhandal, watershed of IWMP-V Barmeen Nallah and inspected various developmental works taken up in convergence with MGNREGA.
During the visit, Project Manager also interacted with Watershed Committee members, villagers and briefed them about the benefits of the scheme.
The locals lauded the efforts made by the Department and requested the Project Manager, for speedy execution of the pending works in the Watersheds.
The PO made aware the public about the benefits of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and stressed on the need for launching Plantation Drive in convergence with the Horticulture Department in the areas. She assured the people residing in the watershed areas that all pending works will be completed at an earliest.
