Podar International School unveils its new campus at Santacruz with a state of the art STEAM learning Lab by Makebot

 

Mumbai: Podar International, a reputed IB/CAIE board school recently inaugurated its campus at Santacruz, Mumbai, and received rave reviews for its innovative STEAM laboratory, set up by Makebot. The campus was inaugurated by the Honourable Minster for Education, Mr. Vinod Tawade, with the help of a special Makebot robot, who was the bearer of the scissors for the auspicious ceremony. The event also saw the presence of prominent educationist, Ms. Indu Shahani, Dean of Indian School of Management & Entrepreneurship and Mr. Vinayak Sudhakar, Head – West, & South India, International Baccalaureate.

Highlighting this commitment, Dr. Vandana Lulla, Director/ Principal, Podar International School, Santacruz, showcased the new campus and Makebot’s STEAM innovation room, where the chief guest, dignitaries and parents experienced the ultra-modern facilities and vibrant classrooms. The innovative lab, designed to provide students the opportunity to learn through experiential education using robotics, artificial intelligence, & laser machines, was met with awe and admiration by everyone present. Students who had been using Makebot’s STEAM leaning, shared their learning experiences with the visiting parents, explaining how STEAM education through robotics & AI has helped them learn the concepts in an efficient manner. They also showcased various projects that they had made, to the Honourable Minister for Education, Mr. Tawde and Chief guest, Ms. Indu Shahani.
