Police Flag Day-2021 program concludes at Ramban

RAMBAN : Police Flag Day 2021 activities culminated today here at District Police Lines with a colorful cultural programme, which started on October 21.

Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam was the Chief Guest and Senior Superintendent of Police, PD Nitya, presided over the concluding function.

ADDC Rajinder Sharma; ADC Harbans Lal; Additional SP Rajni Sharma; Dy. SP, Waqar Bhat; DY. SP, Pradeep Singh Sen and other officers and officials also attended the programme.

Meenu Puri, Ronak Singh and Vijay Kumar adjudged the cultural competitions.

The DC lauded the efforts of the Police Department for providing a platform to the young and budding artists to exhibit their talent in different disciplines including Singing, Dancing, Shairi and Comedy.

In her address, the SSP said that during ten days celebration of Police Flag Day- 2021 various events including Panting, Sporting, Cultural, innovative and informative sessions held across the district by the Police department.

In singing and dancing competitions, Manisha Mehra, Ritisha Manhas and Neha Manhas secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively whereas in group competitions, Thali Dance Team stood 1st and KGBV team stood on 2nd position.

The Police Department Ramban expressed gratitude to all the participants and artists for making this event successful.

Meanwhile, the people appreciated the police department and requested for conducting more such events in future to channelize the energy of youth in a constructive manner.
