Politecnico di Milano: The Rosa Camuna Prize Awarded To Ferruccio Resta
Ferruccio Resta, Rector of the Politecnico di Milano, has been awarded the “Rosa Camuna” Prize 2021, which is assigned every year by the Lombardy Region.
The motivation for the award:
For the dedication and professionalism with which, for years, he has been involved in innovation and research, promoting university education of the highest level. A keen observer of changes in society, he contributes, with his expertise and deep knowledge, to the debate on the future of Lombardy and Italy. During the health emergency, he made available the laboratories and research centres of the University of which he is rector, to support Lombardy in the fight against Covid19.
The award was conferred on Resta on Friday 28 May by the President of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, during a ceremony held in the Auditorium Testori of Palazzo Lombardia.
