Polytechnic Co-organizes International Scientific Conference on Deepening Financial Integration in the EAEU

On April 30, the international scientific conference «Deepening Financial Integration in the EAEU» was held at the Russian-Armenian University (RAU).

The event was co-organized by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, the Institute of National Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The event gathered more than 500 participants and listeners. Speakers of the conference were participants from RAU, SPbPU, Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other universities.

The speakers discussed various aspects of financial and economic integration of the EAEU countries, financial mechanisms and tools for the development of Eurasian economic integration in the context of global processes.

Doctor of Economics, professor, director of the Scientific Educational Center for IT and Business Analytics «Gazprom Neft» Irina Rudskaya in her report emphasized the problem of reverse knowledge transfer in the context of interaction between corporations and universities, as well as the creation of mechanisms and tools for effective integration.

Olga Ergunova, associate professor at the Graduate School of Production Management, made a presentation via video link on «The development of the EAEU in the changing geopolitical context of the world economy: results and new challenges».

Victoria Degtereva, professor of the Graduate School of Administrative Management, presented the results of the study of factors influencing the integration of Russian regions and developments on the selection of effective strategies for cooperation between different levels of government, public and business structures.

The conference organizers agreed to hold an international scientific conference on the problems of financial integration in the EAEU annually.
