Poonch Admin hosts series of mega awareness programs on Youth Engagement & Outreach initiatives under MY

POONCH : Under Government’s Special Initiative for effective Youth Engagement and Outreach Initiative under the aegis of Youth Volunteer Programmes, massive Awareness and Career Counselling Programmes were today held here at 5 Blocks of district Poonch.

The camps were attended by youth clubs, PRIs and persons having achieved success in different self employment ventures.

These awareness programs were organized by District Administration Poonch in collaboration with all line departments.

At the outset, the resource persons from all Departments provided detailed information on Mission Youth and Self employment schemes to the participants. The persons with stories under Mission Youth’ s Mumkin Scheme explained to them about their startups..

Registration counters were established by all line departments for registration of participants for availing benefits under different self employment schemes.

Special lectures were also delivered on drug de-addiction, controlling crime against women, social auditing, planning process, plantation of trees, identification of gaps in planning and development etc.

The Block Development Council Chairpersons, DDC members, PRI representatives and a large number of youth including women participated in these programmes.

Many more programs shall be organised next week including two mega events on March 22 and March 23, 2022 at Ajote and Chandak, the officials informed.
