POSHAN Abhiyan Rally taken out in Samba

Samba: District Development Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria, today flagged off a Poshan Rally under Poshan Pakhwada, here from DC Office.
The objective of rally was to sensitize people on healthy eating to address the issues of Malnutrition, under-nutrition & Obesity.
Poshan Abhiyan aims to achieve improvement in Nutritional Status of Children upto 6yrs of Age, Adolescent Girls, Pregnant Women & Lactating Mothers.
Child Development Project Officers, Supervisors & AWWs of ICDS Projects of the District participated in the Rally. They spread the message of Suposhan with the help of Banners & Slogans.
The DDC was accompanied by District Programme Officer Samba (Additional Charge) Ritu Mahajan; Chief Planning Officer Sukhleen Kour; Child Development Project Officer, Ghagwal, Priyalaxmi besides other filed staff.
