Poshan Pakwada held as part of Azadi Ka Amrut in Ramban

Ramban: Continuing the celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav (India@75) and Poshan pakwada, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Ramban organized a series of programmes at various places in the district.

Besides livelihood activities, NRLM also organized awareness programmes to sensitize women the importance of healthy and hygienic nutrition and skill certification to women. Pledge ceremonies at Block and Cluster Level Federations of the District were also held.

Street Rallies and camps on balanced diet and hygienic nutrition, awareness on growth monitoring among kids were the events organized by NRLM to emphasize upon the essence of Healthy India under the Poshan Pakwada celebration where awareness was disseminated among the women for healthy minds.

While celebrating Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav in tehsil Khari, NRLM validated Women Self Help Group members with skill certificates under Cutting and Tailoring Trade in order to make them self-independent and thus supported.
