POSHAN Project Gandhi Nagar hosts Health awareness & Checkup camp

JAMMU : POSHAN Project Gandhi Nagar today organized a health awareness and Health check up Camp as part of “POSHAN Maah’ campaign. The camp was held at Sri Guru Ravidass Community Hall, Bahu Fort under the supervision of Dr. Sakshi Mahajan, CDPO.

The Health check up and Anaemia testing of children was conducted by a team of doctors from Health Department.

The main highlights of the programme were awareness lectures, POSHAN songs, nukkad natak, reciting of poems and other cultural activities.

D.S. Katoch, Joint Director POSHAN, Renu Bhasin, DPO Jammu and Sham Lal, Corporator Ward No. 48 were guests of honour of this programme.

The event was based on themes of Rashtriya POSHAN Maah 2022 – ” Mahila aur Swasthya” and “Bachha aur Shiksha”.
