Poster contest to mark ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’

 

Aligarh : Naima Saifi won the poster-making contest on ‘Cyber Crimes and Safety’ held to mark the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and ‘Cyber Jaagrookta Divas’ observations of the Centre for Skill Development and Career Planning, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

She received the prize from Prof Naima Khatoon (Director, Centre for Skill Development and Career Planning).

Hadeequa Nasir stood second and Monika finished third. A total of 22 students participated in the poster competition.

“Advancement of cyber technology has not only made it easier to communicate, socialise, complete financial transactions at a click of a button, it has also made it even easier for others to access the data you share over the Internet. In this scenario, it is important for internet users to be aware of the risks involved”, said Prof Naima Khatoon.

Dr Hina Fatima Moinee (Fine Arts Section, Women’s College), Atiya Parveen and Shazia Faheem were the judges. Dr Samreen Hasan Khan coordinated the event.
