Poster Making Competition on G-20 Theme

Aligarh : In the spirit of ongoing India’s celebration of G-20 presidency activities, the Department of Social Work, AMU in collaboration with SOCH (Beyond the Imagination) NGO organized a poster-making competition at the Government Composite School in Village Ramgarh Punjipur, District Aligarh. The topic of the competition was ‘Health and Hygiene’ for classes 7th & 8th and ‘Save Earth, Save Trees’ for class 6. More than 60 students participated in the competition.

The competition’s main aim was to spread awareness about health-related health and environmental issues among children. Professor Naseem Ahmad Khan, Chairperson, Department of Social Work, AMU, and faculty members Dr. Mohammad Tahir, and Dr. Mohd Arif Khan graced the event. Dr. Saleem Mohammad Khan, President & Founder of SOCH, along with his team were present at the occasion. The Principal of the School Mr.Farhat Aliand all the teachers facilitated the event.

Prizes were also distributed to the winners of 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions among students. MSW-I semester students coordinated the proceedings.
