Poster-making event held to mark the Fit India Week
ALIGARH : The Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC), Jawan, running under the Department of Community Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University organized a poster-making competition to observe the Fit India Week, a nationwide initiative launched by the Government of India in 2019 to promote health awareness among the common people.
Prof Uzma Eram, officiating Chairperson, Department of Community Medicine, led the interns of the 2018 batch posted at RHTC, who enthusiastically participated in the poster-making competition, designed to engage and inspire the interns to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
The interns showcased their artistic talent, creating visually appealing charts that conveyed the message of public health, fitness and well-being. The thought-provoking posters were unveiled and displayed by the participants, allowing the RHTC community to appreciate their creativity and dedication.
The displayed charts stressed the importance of staying fit, eating a balanced diet, and the benefits of yoga and meditation.
