Pre-Lok Adalat sessions commence at District Court Ramban

 

RAMBAN : To implement Covid SOPs and strict adherence to Covid appropriate behavior on the day of National Lok Adalat on July 10 by reducing the rush, the pre-Lok Adalat sessions for settling the disputes commenced today at District Court Ramban. Pre-Lok Adalat sessions will conclude on July 10, said Secretary District Legal Service Authority, Ramban, (Sub Judge), Pooja Gupta while talking to media.

“Like in other places, a National Lok Adalat will be held in the Court Complex of Ramban on July 10 for pre-litigation and post- litigation to reduce the pendency of cases in courts,” she added.

She said that, the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority of Ramban, (Principal and District Sessions Judge), Abdul Haq Zargar has exhorted all the litigants to settle his/her dispute/Case in the said National Lok Adalat amicably through conciliation and mediation for which he/she shall approach to the concerned Court and get fixed his/her case in the National Lok Adalat.

Except cases involving serious crimes, all other cases including family disputes with spouse (husband or wife), PDD, PHE (now Jal Shakti Vibhag), Banks, road construction companies, Forest Department, Municipal Committees etc can be settled in Lok Adalat through mutual reconciliation and amicable settlement. No court fee will be charged in National Lok Adalat from applicants, she added.
