Preparedness for National Immunisation Day reviewed at Reasi
Reasi: The Preparedness for National Immunisation Day was today reviewed here at a meeting of District Task Force chaired by Chief Medical Officer, Dr Rajeev K Sharma.
District Immunisation Officer Reasi, Dr Usha Kiran gave a detailed presentation on the National Immunisation Day preparations. It was informed that 61350 children under the age of 5 years will be covered for which the department has set up 364 stationery booths, and deployed 18 transit teams and 12 mobile teams along with 79 supervisors and 9 District Monitors. The programme will be held under the overall supervision of District Administration Reasi.
Dr Mohd Yousaf Khan, DyCMO, stressed upon all the stakeholders to concentrate in high risk areas so that no child is left out.
A district cell, comprising Suresh Kumar, Extension Educator (Cont. No. 7889308154), Anshul Sharma, JHI, (Cont No. 9906060337), Romesh Chander, Health Educator (Store Keepar) (Cont. No. 9906398264) Rakesh Kumar Driver along with Vaccine Van (JK20-9226) (Cont. No . 9797427841) Nirmal Kumar, N.O, CMO office Reasi, has been constituted to attend any contingency arising during the programme, the meeting was told.
Other members present in the meeting included Chief Education Officer, representative of DSWO & ARTO, Medical Superintendent District Hospital, President Municipal Council Reasi, besides others.
