President of India Awards Atomberg Technologies for being Best in Class in Energy Efficiency

Mumbai : Mumbai headquartered Atomberg Technologies, India’s leading BLDC fan manufacturer, has been announced as the winner of Best Energy Efficient Appliance of the Year in the Ceiling Fan Category under National Energy Conservation Awards -2022 (NECA 2022). The Ministry of Power’s Award Committee recognized the Atomberg Renesa 1200 ceiling fan in this category for the award.

The event was organized at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 14th December 2022.

As per the latest Government norm, BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency) and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) are working closely for better health and growth of the industry. From 1st Jan 2023, the industry will shift to a new BEE Star Rating norm for ceiling fans. Higher star rating will correspond to more energy efficiency. Unrated fans will not be manufactured post 31st Dec 2022. This initiative has been taken by the government to move the ceiling fan industry towards a greener future.
