Prime Minister inaugurates Phase 1 of Education Complex, Modi Shaikshanik Sankul in Ahmedabad; Underlines importance of skill development to ensure employment for youths
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Phase 1 of Modi Shaikshanik Sankul, an educational complex for needy students in Ahmedabad today afternoon. The project will help provide facilities to students for holistic development.
Addressing the occasion, the Prime Minister underlined the importance of skill development in order to ensure employment for youths.
PM Modi also dedicated and laid the foundation stone of several developmental projects worth over Eight thousand crore rupees in Bharuch district of Gujarat.
Speaking on the ocassion, the prime Minister said that earlier India was at the 10th spot in terms of economy, however today our country is the 5th largest economy in the world. All of us are proud of this achievement, he said.
Mr. modi asserted that during the time of the COVID pandemic, the world came to know the importance of the Indian pharma sector. He said, the contribution of India towards defeating Coronavirus was unmatchable.
The Prime Minister said, the exports of pharmaceuticals of New India are touching the sky today and this achievement is possible due to the collective efforts of all Indians.
He said, when the country is entering into the Amrit Kal, the golden period has begun for Gujarat which is immensely contributing to the growth and development of the country.
Mr. Modi said Gujarat has emerged as a manufacturing hub of the country in recent times. The Prime Minister said, the Bharuch alone houses a huge number of industrial units, much larger than the total industrial units of small states. The new projects related to Chemicals, connectivity, and pharma sector, will boost the economic growth in the region.
Mr. Modi said, the new airport to be set up at Ankleshwar will play an important role in increasing exports from Gujarat.
He asserted that the government is working tirelessly to bring the tribal population of the state into the mainstream of development.
Mr. Modi also condoled the demise of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and recalled his memories with him. The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for Gujarat’s first Bulk Drug Park at Jambusar which will be built at the cost of 2500 crore rupees. Apart from this, he laid the foundation stone for Deep Sea Pipeline Project at Dahej, along with multiple industrial parks. It include four Tribal Industrial Parks to be set up at Valia in Bharuch, Amirgadh in Banaskantha, Chakaliya in Dahod and Vanar in Chhota Udaipur.
After Bharuch, Mr Modi will address a rally in Anand. In the noon, he will inaugurate the Phase 1 of Modi Shaikshanik Sankul, an educational complex for needy students in Ahmedabad. In the evening, PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth over 1,460 crore rupees in Jamnagar. These projects relate to irrigation, power, water supply and urban infrastructure.
The foundation stone was also laid of one Agro Food Park, Sea Food Park and MSME Park by the Prime Minister. He also dedicated 800 TPD Caustic Soda Plant at Dahej.
Thereafter Mr. Modi also dedicated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth around 1,450 crore rupees in Jamnagar. These projects relate to irrigation, power, water supply and urban infrastructure.
