Prime Minister Modi is building a glorious India: CM Chouhan
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has told the ministers to take part in public welfare programmes to be held in the Gareeb Kalyan Saptah from September 16 to 23 in Madhya Pradesh. This programme will be held for 8 days continuously at state and district level. Lakhs of people will be connected to these programmes through Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has instructed all departments to connect more and more people to these programmes. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this programme is not of any one or two departments but it is of the state government. It is fulfilling the purpose of people’s welfare. Therefore, every department should be actively involved in the programmes.
In a discussion with the ministers before the Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that September 17 is the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Modi. He is not just an individual but is an institution. He has been nurturing feelings of compassion towards the poor in his heart since his childhood. We get to know stories of courage from his childhood. Shri Narendra Modi has read the literature of Swami Vivekananda and dedicated his life towards social service. Whichever organization he joined, he made it progressive. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that when Gujarat was in a bad condition, Shri Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat and he transformed the entire state of Gujarat. The Gujarat model also became popular. Shri Modi is a scholar of art, culture, history. Since 2014, he has taken effective steps to build a glorious, rich and prosperous India. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that India has become a superpower under the able leadership of Shri Modi. Be it an example of a surgical strike or a decision to fight China, he has changed the scenario of the country. Be it the case of Ayodhya, or the abolition of Article 370 from Kashmir or even the topic of triple talaq and citizenship law, everyone is familiar with his grit. He is a Yogi Prime Minister who works with the spirit of patriotism.
Gareeb Kalyan Saptah in Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told that a programme has been scheduled to provide benefits to the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes from September 16 to September 23 under Gareeb Kalyan Saptah in Madhya Pradesh. This programme will add joy to the lives of the poor. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that an Anna Utsav (food festival) will be organized on September 16. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that milk will be distributed to malnourished children in Anganwadi centres on September 17 on the Prime Minister’s birthday. On the same day, there will be an orientation of sarpanchs and Ladli Laxmi Yojana amount will also be distributed. Ministers will participate in these programmes. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that on September 18, crop insurance amount of Rs. 4.50 thousand crores will be deposited in the accounts of 18 lakh farmers. Similarly, forest rights pattas will be distributed on September 19 and an amount of Rs 150 crore will be given to self-help groups on September 20 to empower them. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that street vendors of rural areas will be benefited on September 21 in which the beneficiaries will be able to upgrade their small business by obtaining a loan of Rs 10 thousand each as working capital.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that Kisan Credit Card will be distributed to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi on September 22 in the Gareeb Kalyan Saptah. An amount of Rs 800 crore will be deposited in cooperative banks for disbursement of loans to farmers at zero percent interest. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that benefits will be given to Sambal Yojana beneficiaries on September 23. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all these programmes will work to change the fate and picture of the state by simultaneously benefiting different sections in the Corona period.
