Principal Secretary SED visits GHS Palli, reviews working

 

SAMBA : Principal Secretary, School Education Department (SED), B K Singh, today visited Government High School Palli, Vijaypur zone, to review working of the institute besides inspecting the renovation works being executed in the school campus.

Director SED Jammu, Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma, Chief Education Officer Samba, Jaswant Singh and other officers accompanied the Principal Secretary.

Pertinently, the educational institutions have recently resumed their functioning for in-person classes in the region after a gap of almost 2 years in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. The GHS Palli is currently being renovated to improve the teaching learning experience of the students as well as the teachers.

The visiting officers interacted with the staff and students of the school and enquired about the functioning of various wings of the institute to ascertain the working status of the school. They also inspected the school building, classrooms and laboratories and instructed the staff members for further streamlining of their respective tasks.

Interacting with the students, Principal Secretary exhorted upon them to deeply understand the basic concepts of their subjects and work hard towards building a better future. He also advised the staff to make teaching- learning process more practical, attractive and amenable.

He asked the staff and students to ensure strict adherence to all preventive protocols regarding Covid SOPs during their offline classes. He also asked the staff members to give their hundred percent so that the loss of studies incurred due to Covid pandemic could be compensated.
