Prize distribution ceremony held for Client Counseling Competition
ALIGARH : A two-day Client Counseling Competition, organized by the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University concluded with the prize distribution and valediction ceremony.
The final round of the competition was judged by Prof Chandrashekhar, Vice Chancellor, Raja Mahendra Pratap University, and Advocates Rudra Pratap Singh, Tushar Khairnar and Tarshit Bhardwaj from the Supreme Court of India.
Prof Chandrashekhar discussed the postgraduate legal education scenario in India and appreciated AMU’s Faculty of Law for its seminal contribution in country’s legal education.
Earlier, welcoming the guests, Prof M.Z.M. Nomani, Dean, Faculty of Law introduced Prof Chandrashekhar and lauded him for his efforts to start LLM and PhD programmes at Raja Mahendra Pratap University in a short span of time.
Prof Hashmat Ali Khan expressed willingness to develop cooperation between the two universities.
Prof Chandrashekhar, along with Prof Nomani gave away prizes and certificates to the winning team consisting of Ms. Krati Rathi and Ms. Aqsa Mehak and the runner up team comprising Mr. Ayush Mudgal and Mr. Syed Fazal Ur Rahman Niazi.
Advocates Rudra Singh, Tushar Khairnar and Tarshit Bhardwaj shared the their experiences of working with the AMU law pass outs who completed their internship at the Supreme Court of India.
