Prof Abdul Hamid Fazli, Department of Islamic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) appointed Chairman of the Department

Aligarh : Prof Abdul Hamid Fazli, Department of Islamic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been appointed Chairman of the Department for a period of three years with effect from January 9, 2023.

Professor Fazli has been teaching in the Department of Islamic Studies for the last twenty years. Quranic studies and Seerah are his areas of specialization. He has published more than 100 articles in Urdu, English and Arabic in reputed journals.

He has also been the Coordinator of the Disability Unit at AMU.
