Prof Jamshed Siddiqui appointed as Officer-on-Special-Duty (Development), AMU

Aligarh: Prof Jamshed Siddiqui, Department of Computer Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been appointed as the Officer-on-Special-Duty (Development) in addition to his own duties for a period of two years. He will assume the charge from March 17.

Prof Siddiqui was the Proctor of the University from 2013-2015. He has also served as the Dean, Students’ Welfare (2016-19), elected member of the Executive Council and the University Court and Hony Secretary, AMU Teachers Association (2009-11). Prof Siddiqui recently completed his term as the Chairman, Department of Computer Science, which began in 2017.
