Prof N Khalique elected as Vice President (N) IPHA

 

Aligarh : Prof. Najam Khalique of JN Medical College, AMU, has been elected as the Vice President (North) of the Indian Public Health Association (IPHA) for the 2023-2025 term. The election, in which registered life members voted, took place at the IPHA Annual Conference 2023 held in Kolkata.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. C V Ananda Bose, the Governor of West Bengal. Dr. Sanghamitra Ghosh, the association’s President, presented Prof. Najam Khalique with the election certificate during the conference.

In his speech, Prof. Najam credited his success to his continuous efforts and dedicated work in the field of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. He also chaired a scientific session on Health System Strengthening Financing and HR (NHSRC) during the conference.
