Prof S Panigrahi Inaugurates ten days workshop on research methodology

Rourkela : School of Management of National Institute of Technology, Rourkela has organized a Ten days workshop on ‘Research Methodology course on social science research’. Inaugurating the event Dean of student welfare Seemanchal Panigrahi said, ‘ I hope this research workshop will live up to your expectations. The purpose of the research is to inform action. Research must always be of high quality in order to produce knowledge.
To find out the solution to any problem, we need to research. It gives a broader perspective. As a researcher, it is important to take steps to overcome the barrier, ”said the Dean. This research programme will provide advanced theoretical and practical knowledge by field visit exposure and use of different statistical package to all three stages of research students such as planned to pursue the doctoral research programme.

It will provide input to the students who are planning stage of their doctoral research. It will provide support and guidance towards developing a theoretical and methodological framework of their research. 30participants from Odisha, Chattishgarh, Jharkhand, North-Eastern states participated in this workshop. Associate professor, School of Management Rajeev Kumar Panda welcomed the participants. At the end Associate Professor, School of Management Chandan Kumar Sahoo proposed the vote of thanks.
