Prof. Syed Ziaur Rahman appointed Coordinator, AMC and MDMC

ALIGARH: Prof. Syed Ziaur Rahman, Department of Pharmacology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University has been appointed as Coordinator, Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre (AMC) and Medical Device Adverse Events Monitoring Centre (MDMC), JNMC. The AMC and MDMC work under the National Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) and the Materiovigilance Programme
of India (MvPI), respectively, under the aegis of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Dr Rahman has been working in the field of Pharmacovigilance for the last 23 years. He is a member of various prestigious organizations.

The Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Veena Maheshwari and Founder President of SoPI, Prof. K. C. Singhal have congratulated Dr. Rahman on his appointment as Coordinator, AMC and MDMC.
