Professional development workshop held for commerce students
ALIGARH : The Training and Placement Office (General), in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University hosted a “Professional Development” workshop for the postgraduate students of the M.Com, M.I.R.M., MBA Financial Management, M.H.R.M. and M.T.T.M. programmes.
Dr. Ahmad Faraz, Department of Business Administration, urged participants to harness the power of LinkedIn optimization for a thriving professional career.
Dr. Muzamil Mushtaq, Department of Library and Information Science, offered valuable tips on crafting an impressive CV.
Dr. Saeem Khan, Department of Commerce imparted essential knowledge on the art of facing interviews with confidence.
Earlier, welcoming the resource persons and participants, Prof Mohd Shamim Ansari emphasized the importance of such workshops and urged the students to make the best use of facilities available t the university to get professional expertise and carve a good career.
Mr Saad Hameed, TPO, said the workshop sought to equip students with special skills and knowledge needed to navigate the competitive landscape and foster an environment of learning and growth, empowering participants to take proactive steps towards building good career in life.
