Professor M Saud Alam Qasmi appointed as New editor at Tahzibul Akhlaque

Aligarh : Professor M Saud Alam Qasmi, Department of Sunni Theology has been appointed Editor, Tahzibul Akhlaque and Nishant, for a period of two years or till further orders.

Professor Qasmi has earlier served as the Dean, Faculty of Theology, Chairman, Department of Sunni Theology, Director, Sir Syed Academy and Nazim, Sunni Deenyat. He has published 35 books in different languages besides supervising 12 PhDs so far.

The reformatory journal, Tahzibul Akhlaque or “The Social Reformer” was started by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in 1870 with a pristine objective to reform Muslim society. It also aimed at creating awareness among Muslims towards educational and social development with special emphasis on promoting modern and scientific knowledge.
