Professor Pradip Kumar Das takes charge as the registrar of NITR

Rourkela: The newly appointed registrar of the national institute of technology, Rourkela professor Pradip Kumar Das took charge on Tuesday. He was welcomed by the officers and staffs of NITR. Professor Das was earlier serving as Professor of Civil Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla. A 1985 batch NITRAAN, Das is an expert in Water Resources. He has completed his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur. He is in teaching since 1987 (31years) and he has academic administrative exposure being the Member of Board of Management (BoM), Dean, Academic Affairs, Dean, Faculty & Planning, Head, Training & Placement, Head, Civil Engineering Peer Team Member, NAAC, Chairman, Construction Committee, Member, Buildings & Works Committee, E expert Member, OPSC. Guided two Ph.D. ( and two more are continuing) and 19 M.Tech dissertations till date.
