Professor Wang Rong elected Director of IIEP Council of UNESCO

Peking: Professor Wang Rong, director of China Institute for Educational Finance Research of Peking University, was elected director of IIEP Council of UNESCO, with the tenure of four years.

Founded in 1963, the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) is one of the six permanent organizations of UNESCO. As the only specialized organization that supports education policy, planning and management tasks, it mainly carries out training in education planning and administration, and conducts cooperative research on education planning, evaluation methods of education reform, education and employment.
