PSSC launches Job portal ‘Vidyut Rojgar’ to facilitate jobs for trained youth

New Delhi: The Power Sector Skill Council (PSSC) has launched a job portal ‘Vidyut Rojgar’ (https://www.pssc.helpmyskills.com) to provide employment opportunities to trained youth in the power sector. The ‘Vidyut Rojgar’ portal will help bridge the gap between employers and skilled youth who trained under the Skill India Mission.

Through this ‘Vidyut Rojgar’ portal, the employers will be able to find qualified candidates, and the candidates will get to know about the recruitment in various power/energy-related companies. Jobs related to the power sector in various parts of the country will also be listed on this ‘Vidyut Rojgar’ portal through various training partners and industry partners of PSSC from across the country. PSSC is trying to make youth self-reliant by providing jobs at the local and regional level.

PSSC CEO Vinod Behari says, ‘Vidyut Rojgar’ job portal will not remain for mere registration of unemployed skilled youth, but be a facilitator for making them available jobs. Through this portal, various companies that are working in the power sector will get benefits and will be able to recruit qualified and trained staff for their separate job roles. The youth trained by PSSC will get job information according to the job role. Only after registering on this portal, the job can be posted or you will be able to apply for the job.
