Public Lecture on “Future of Medicines in the Post-Genomic, Big Data & Artificial Intelligence-Era”at JMI

New Delhi: Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) is organising a Public Lecture on “Future of Medicines in the Post-Genomic, Big Data & Artificial IntelligenceEra” By Prof. Samir K Brahmachari on 29th November 2019 at 11:00 AM in Engineering Auditorium of the university.

Prof. Brahmachari is former Director General, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and founder Director of CSIR- Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology.

He is currently the Academy Professor of Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research and Chief Mentor of Open Source Drug Discovery. He is also the Chief Mentor, Health Technology Innovations for ACCESS Health International, Inc.
Prof. Brahmachari mentors several startups in Genomic Medicine and Big data analytics.

Prof. Brahmachari is the recipient of many national and international awards including Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar prize. He is an elected fellow of The World Academy of Sciences, the European Society of Preventive Medicine and member of all four National Academies of Science & Engineering in India.
