Qirat & Naat Competition held at Government HSS Keller, Shopian

SHOPIAN : The cluster level Qirat and Naat competition was held at Government Higher Secondary School Keller, Shopian Wednesday.

50 students from the affiliated schools of the cluster Keller participated in the said Naat Competition.

Principal Higher Secondary School Keller, Mohammad Afzal who is also the cluster head, presided over the function.

The inaugural speech was delivered by Dr. Irfan-Ul-Haq lecturer Commerce of the school.

Among the participants Mohammed Suleman of Middle School Keller, Ab Rehman Lone of UPS Chowan and Saima Ramzan of HSS Keller bagged first, second and third positions in Qirat and Aneesa Khurshid of HSS Keller, Toiba Tariq of PS Gulabtaing and Simran Rashid of UPS Mastpora bagged first, second and third positions in Naat competitions respectively.

The position holders were awarded cash prizes.

At the end of the function a vote of thanks was presented by the Principal of the institution.
