QShala Hosts Panel Discussion on Creativity with Joy Bhattacharya, Eshna Kutty and Varun Aggarwal

Bangalore: QShala, an online platform designed to foster life-skills & curiosity in children hosted a panel discussion today as a part of their ongoing children’s fest, Unconference.

On the topic of curiosity, Quizmaster and Orator Joy Bhattacharya, joined by Entrepreneur & Author Varun Aggarwal and Social media star and hoola hoop dancer Eshna Kutty shared insights on the relevance of curiosity on learning. Sharing anecdotes and stories, they cited as to how curiosity often led people on a journey of discovery. The discussion was helmed by Sachin Ravi and Raghav Chakravarthy, co-founders of QShala.

With over 11,000 voters and 500 registrations, Unconference is a creative online fest that has competitions, learning sessions, a game night and Quriosity Conversations. Held throughout the month of November, the fest was free for all. Unconference was divided into two categories – Sub Junior (Grade 1-3) and Junior (Grade 4-10). The competitions were broadly divided into 2 categories- Art-o-mania and Literary pro where kids showcased their talent through dance, filmmaking, music, skits as well as creative writing, elocution, craft and painting.

The online curiosity platform recently raised INR 2.7 Crores in angel funding. The round was led by Zerodha-backed start-up incubator and fund, Rainmatter Capital, with participation from other notable angels including Mindtree co-founder Mr. Kalyan Banerjee.
