Speaking about the UCASS delegation
Professor Frances Bowen said: “It was fantastic to meet with the delegation from UCASS – one of China’s leading research institutions. It was their first visit to Queen Mary, and we hope that we can find clear ways to work together in the near-future – to the benefit of both institutions and our students.
“We have been working with universities in China for over 20 years now – and have seen what amazing things we can achieve by working together with colleagues in China. I look forward to see our relationship with UCASS bloom.”
Professor Zhang Zhengwen, President of UCASS, said: “The meeting with Professor Frances Bowen and other relevant colleagues of Queen Mary was very frank, efficient and promising – laying up a solid foundation for enhancing and furthering cooperation and exchanges between our two universities.”
