Queen Mary University of London Signs New Agreement with UESTC, Strengthening International Collaboration
The signing of the 4+1 Progression Agreement marked UESTC’s first visit to Queen Mary since 2017.
Both partners further explored opportunities to broaden and deepen the universities’ institutional relationship and discussed opportunities to connect and provide support for academic and research collaborations.
Queen Mary has been working with University of Electronic Science and Technology of China since 2012. The education partnership is focused on study abroad and progression agreements – the last within Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) was renewed in 2021.
Prof Alex Clark, Dean for International, Science & Engineering, said:
“We are excited to be broadening our educational partnership with UESTC and look forward to welcoming high potential graduates into our 1-year SMS and SBBS Master programmes. Queen Mary not only offers a first-class postgraduate education but a truly global study experience. Currently, more than 170 nationalities are studying towards a Queen Mary degree.”
