R.D S&LR North Kashmir reviews digitization of Jambandies & quality checking of Baramulla
BARAMULLA: The Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (S&LR) North Kashmir, Khursheed Ahmad Shah today convened a meeting in the Conference Hall of DC office Complex Baramulla to review the digitization of Jambandies and quality checking of district Baramulla.
On the occasion, the Regional Director took detailed review of the computerization of land records Tehsil Wise and village wise in digitization of jambandies, authentication of jambandies and quality check.
While reviewing progress achieved on digitization of jambandies in Baramulla district, it was informed that there are 544 revenue villages in Baramulla and out of which 214 Jamabandies have been completed and the remaining process will be completed soon.
The Regional Director directed the officers to expedite the digitization process and stressed upon them to ensure complete digitization of all jamabandies as per timeline fixed by higher authorities.
Later, the Regional Director visited digitization centres of Tehsil Baramulla and Narwaw for quality check of jambandies under digitization.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner (Rev) Baramulla, Mumtaz Ahmad; Tehsildars of Watergam/Rohama Sopore, Sopore, Baramulla/ Narwaw, Kunzer, Khole, Karhama, Pattan besides Naib Tehsildars of Uri, Tangmarg, Wagoora, Dangerpora Sopore, Kreeri, Boniyar, Wagoora, Zaingeer and Dangiwacha.
