Rajouri admin launches inspection drive to enforce punctuality in offices

RAJOURI : Special teams of District Administration Rajouri, constituted by Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, today conducted surprise inspections of scores of Government offices.
As many as 57 offices were inspected during the day-long drive. Against the strength of 1154 officials, 1032 were found present, while 17 were absent from duty and 75 others were on leave and 39 more were shown on tour.
It was also found that the face recognition biometric attendance system was functional in 38 offices, while it was dysfunctional in 15 offices and 4 offices were without a biometric system.
The heads of the institutions were asked to maintain attendance and leave records of the employees on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner has directed the teams to conduct surprise inspections on regular intervals to enforce punctuality and maintain work culture in the offices for the benefit of the general public.
