Rajouri Admin organises Maiden virtual Education conclave
DC advises students to work hard to achieve desired goals
RAJOURI : A maiden virtual Education Conclave was today organised by the District Administration Rajouri in collaboration with the School Education Department.
As many as 15000 students from 143 schools attended the event online while sitting in the smart classrooms of their respective schools.
Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal – the Chief Guest presented a highly informative and thought provoking lecture to encourage the students to dream high.
“There is no substitute for hard work when it comes to achieving your cherished dreams,” said Deputy Commissioner Rajouri.
While interacting with the students, the Deputy Commissioner encouraged the students to keep up a positive spirit and eagerness to work hard towards achieving academic excellence and career goals. He encouraged them to focus on their studies during their academic years, adding that a keen awareness and update of current affairs and reasoning is also very important to succeed in most of the exams.
Lauding the dedication of teachers and their efforts and initiatives, the DC suggested them to explore innovative ways to make the teaching and learning process more effective. He further advised the students to take advantage of the ICT labs/Smart classroom to add new dimensions to the teaching- learning process. He also advised the teachers to inculcate reading habits among the students.
The DC emphasised the importance of role models in life. “They influence our actions and motivate us to strive to discover our true potential and overcome our weaknesses. They encourage us to make the most of our lives,” he added.
The DC also said that the future of the country was in the hands of the youth and they should work hard with strong commitment and dedication to be able to contribute towards the development of the Nation.
As many as 18 guest speakers spoke at the event through virtual mode and shared the experiences of their lives and motivated the students to understand their potential and focus on the aims of their lives to achieve them.
