Rajouri admin sanctions financial aid for fire victim family under SDRF

Rajouri : The district administration Rajouri today provided financial aid to a poor family, who suffered loss of domesticated animals in an incident of fire.

Two buffalos and a cow of Ram Pal Sharma son of Sita Ram of Sarol area, were charred to death after his animal shed caught fire on March 5.

Deputy Commissioner informed that an immediate financial aid of Rs 1.97 Lakh under SDRF has been sanctioned for the victim family.

He informed that financial aid has been approved as per SOPs after a loss report was submitted by a team headed by Tehsildar concerned.
