RamagyaMUN 2024 Conference Sets New Standard For Global Diplomacy

Noida: Ramagya School successfully concluded its inaugural Ramagya School Model United Nations (MUN) 2024 Conference. The event ended positively, making young minds realize the importance of upholding the spirit of peace and international cooperation.

Hosted at the esteemed Ramagya School campus in Sector-50, Noida, the conference marked a significant step towards devising solutions for a better, safer and more peaceful world. The two-day mega-conference set a new standard for fostering a robust Model United Nations and debating culture among students. It provided a supportive space to accommodate participants from 84 countries across the globe.

Spotlighting the ceremony as the Chief Guest – Mr. Zakka Jacob, Managing Editor of CNN-News18. More than a journalist, he’s a seasoned storyteller shaping narratives around global events. A trusted voice in the industry, Mr. Jacob earned the TV Anchor of the Year Award at the IAA Leadership Awards 2022, unraveling the complexities of our world with exceptional insight.

Riddhima Singh, Secretary General MUN from Ramagya School welcomed the diverse delegates, setting the stage for an immersive experience. Principal Ms. Rina Singh motivated the delegates and honored Chief Guest Mr. Zakka Jacob, Managing Editor of CNN-News18.

Mr. Jacob, with his profound knowledge of Indian and global politics, addressed the audience, emphasizing the UN’s vital role in promoting international cooperation, peace, and security.

He delved into the current significance of the UN, stressing its importance in upholding the sovereignty of smaller countries. Reflecting on the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel in October 2023, Mr. Jacob highlighted its global ramifications, urging a comprehensive understanding of its dimensions.

Celebrating Excellence at RamagyaMUN 2024

Ramagya School proudly acknowledges the outstanding achievements of its delegates at the conference.

Aleena, represented Vietnam in the UNGA council, and earned the prestigious Best Delegate Award, showcasing remarkable diplomatic skills.

Ekansh, represented Chad in the UNGA council, and received the High Commendation award, demonstrating exceptional expertise.

Nikat as a representative of Chile in the UNGA council, also earned the High Commendation Award for thoughtful contributions to the discussions.

 

In addition to individual successes, G.D. GOENKA School (Ghaziabad) emerged triumphant, securing the esteemed Best School Delegation Award. Representing the USA in the UNSC council, their delegation showcased excellence in diplomacy and collaborative engagement.
