Ramban Admin intensifies implementation of job oriented schemes

DC directs Bankers, Line Departments to ensure timely disbursement of loans

 

RAMBAN : To ensure timely disbursement of loan cases besides ensuring implementation of all youth and self employment oriented schemes during “Good Governance week”, Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today chaired a special meeting of District Level Review Committee (DLRC) attended by Bankers and Line Departments responsible for sponsoring and landing of financial assistance to people especially to unemployed youth.

The DC also took stock of the deposits, advances and the CD Ratio targets, besides confirming the minutes of the last meeting formulated by the Lead District Manager, Ramban.

The meeting was attended by ADC Harbans Sharma; CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal; GM DIC Vishwajeet, Lead District Manager, Ab. Rashid Sofi; Cluster Head JK Bank, Subash Manhas; DDM-NABARD, Arushi Sharma; CAO,CHO, DSHO, CAHO , Bankers and various senior officers.

The meeting held threadbare deliberations on bank wise progress in lending in priority sector and non priority sector under Annual Credit Plan as of quarter ending September 2021. The achievements made under other Government sponsored schemes including PMEGP, KVIC, MUMKIN, Tajsawani, NRLM, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana were also reviewed.

It was informed in the meeting that the CD Ratio registered an increase of 2.35% and stood at 50.29% till September end this year, while Rs. 95.90 crore were expended in the priority sector as against a target Rs 382.11 crore i,e 25% of ACP 2021-22 ending September 2021.

The DC directed GM DIC to coordinate with Banks to register all the financed firms and individuals with DIC to cover them under MSME and other beneficiary oriented schemes.

Seeking details of disbursement of loan cases under different schemes, the DC directed the Bankers to achieve the 100 percent target set by the Committee for their respective Banks. 43 cases have been disbursed by the JK Bank in adherence to direction passed in the last meeting, he added.

The DC directed KVIB to register identified 5 to 7 youth of every panchayat in coordination with District Panchayat Officer to provide them financial assistance under KVIC-PMEGP to start self employment units.

The DC asked the district officers to cross check the data with due diligence before submitting it to higher authorities for yielding better results. He sought effective implementation of PMEGP, KVIC, MUMKIN, Tajawani and other financial assistance schemes for youth to enable them to establish their business units.

During the DLRC meeting, the Potential Linked credit Plan(PLP) for the year 2022-23 of district Ramban was launched. PLP contains the total credit potential of the district which can be tapped by bank branches during a particular year.

Under the celebration of Good Governance Week in the district the Public Grievances Redressal campaign is in full swing in different areas of the district by providing hassle free services and supplies to the people besides promoting online services launched by the different departments.
