Ratnadeep Grand Ganesha Awards, organised by Lions Club International, Dept. of Language & Culture, Telangana; Telangana Tourism & Hyderabad City Police; receives overwhelming response!

Hyderabad: Lions Club International Dist 320A, in association with the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana; Telangana Tourism and Hyderabad City Police; presented the “Ratnadeep Grand Ganesha Awards , 2023 – Season 4” awards to Gated Communities in the city which shaped their pandals with good quotient of spirituality and creativity, while celebrating the festivities as a community, today at Club Botanika, Gachibowli. The awards were given away by the Chief Guest Sri Mahesh Bhagwat, IPS,  Additional DGP CID, Telangana state. Guests of Honour Sri Gellu Srinivas Yadav, Chairman, TSTDC, Sri Mamidi Harikrishna, Director, Dept of Language & Culture and Lion Harinarayan Bhattad, Dist Governor, Lions International Dist 320A, graced the occasion. Keynote Speech was delivered by Lion Sunil Kumar, Past International Director, Lions International; the Award was convened by Lion Dr Saurabh Sureka, President, Lions Yuva and the Concept & Curation of Ratnadeep Grand Ganesha Awards , 2023 – Season 4, was done by “Celebration Makers” and initiated by Lions Club Yuva.

Speaking on the occasion Sri Mahesh Bhagwat said, this is a wonderful opportunity for Gated Communities to come together on one platform. Huge celebrations of festivals like Ganesha which was initiated by the Great Nationalist Lokmanya Tilak, has transformed and integrated societies since several years.

Grand Ganesha Awards” as a concept is curated to understand the amalgamation of cultures and ethnicity in a fast-growing Cosmopolitan City like Hyderabad, while maintaining the Traditions and going back to basics of Sustainability,” says Dr Saurabh Sureka.

Twenty five societies were shortlisted as finalists out of several registrations done by gated communities from across the city, to participate in the contest. Gated Communities being the mini-townships where the cosmopolitan Population along with the resident population of the city come together to celebrate and build the sustainable cultural legacy for our future generations. “Grand Ganesha Awards” recognises and rewards Gated Communities who contribute in building this Legacy which shall form the shape of our future City.

The top five awards were won by Raintree Park, as Hall of Fame Stalwart of Stalwarts for best Prasadam Seva and most Digitally Active Society; Rainbow Vistas Rock Garden as Hall of Fame stalwart of Stalwarts for being a Go-Green Society and best Maha Aarati concept; Aparna Sarovar Nallagandla, as the Proud Winners for being most Enthusiastic and Culturally Active Society; PBEL City Peeramcheruvu, was the Proud Runners Up for being a Changemakers Society; Rajapushpa Atria Kokapet, was the Proud Runners Up for being the most Resident Friendly Society with best Décor Concept. Under Non-Gated Society category Sri Marwadi Ganesh Utsav Samiti Sultan Bazar, won the award for best Crowd Management and the most Innovative Theme.

The award winners under less than 500 families category were Sunshine IRIS Apartment Manikonda, for being the most Integrated Society; Trident Grande Kompally, for being the Most Enthusiastic Society; Manjeera Majestic Homes Kukatpally, for being the most Resident Friendly Society; The Neighborhood Kompally, for being the most Eco-Friendly Society; SA Palm Meadows Kompally for being the most Elegantly Organised Festival; Ashoka A-La-Maison Kompally, for being the Ideal Society for Social Welfare; Green Valley Kondapur, for being the most Promising Society and Golf View Nanakramguda, for being the most Dynamic Society.

Aparna Kanopy Tulip Kompally, bagged the most Ideal Society in Hyderabad – North;  Prestige High Fields Financial District, for being the most Promising Society, Jury Award; Aparna Sarovar Zenith Nallagandla, for being the most Upcoming Society; SMR Vinay Iconia Kondapur, as the most Harmonious Society; Jain’s Carlton Creek Gachibowli, as the Most Evolving Society; My Home Vihanga    Financial District, for the most Elegantly Organised Festival; Aparna Cyberlife Nalagandla, for the best Innovative Concepts, Jury Award; Provident Kenworth Rajendranagar, for being the  most Nationally Integrated  Society, Jury Award; Aparna Serene Park Kondapur, as the Most Futuristic Society, Jury Award; Laxmi Narsimha Swamy Nagar Colony Manikonda, as the most Enthusiastic Colony celebrating the Festival and Aparna Cyber Commune, Nalagandla, for its good Sustainable Concepts.

Extending the intent of building cultural legacy there was “Ek Bharat” Dance performance by Jainam Events Dance troupe marking the launch of “Bharat Utsav 2024” to be held during Sankranti and is a joint venture of Five major Events Companies of Hyderabad – Celebration Makers, Jainam Events, White & Black Events, Page3 Events India Ltd & PRO Events. The Chairman, TSTDC also promised to extend all their support for Bharat Utsav.
