RDD Director reviews performance of Department in Ramban District

Jammu: Director, Rural Development Jammu, Sudershan Kumar, today reviewed Administrative issues and the progress of different schemes, including Centrally Sponsored Schemes being implemented by the Rural Development Department in Ramban District at a meeting held here at Directorate of Rural Development .

A detailed review of administrative issues was held including pending complaints on Grievance Portal, Administrative Grievance (Portal), complaints/grievances received from Administrative Department (Off line), complaints/grievances received from Anti Corruption Bureau, filing of objections/replies in various court cases etc.

The progress of Centrally Sponsored Schemes viz MGNREGA, PMAY, 14th FC, RGSA, NNBOMP was also reviewed.

The Assistant Commissioner Development, Ramban gave a presentation about the progress of various schemes like MGNREGA, PMAY, 14th FC, RGSA, NNBMOP & others.

The Director stressed on time bound disposal of pending complaints on Grievance Portal, Administrative Grievance (Portal), complaints/grievances received Administrative Department (Off line), complaints/grievances received Anti Corruption Bureau, filing of replies in court cases etc and completion of works under various schemes and simultaneous updation on the respective Portals.

The officers were asked to be punctual and adhere to the time line fixed for payment of wages, completion of works, geo tagging, preparation of bills, Aadhaar seeding, completion of PMAY (G) houses within stipulated timeline fixed by the Administrative Department and also expedite the progress under 14th Finance Commission Award.

The district officers were instructed to furnish complete details of works under MGNREGA against which liability has been reflected on MIS for the year 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21. The details should comprise of number and nomenclature of works under liability amount, physical status, number of bills prepared against those works, payment made and liability of works done.

The Director Rural Development Jammu also stressed upon the officers to follow the pending cases in various courts and file the objections in all relevant matters. He enjoined upon all the officers to work with a missionary zeal and deliver the benefits of the schemes at the grassroots level by involving the PRIs in various development related issues.
