RDSLR inspects newly updated Jamabandies of Tehsil Pouni

Udhampur: Regional Director Survey and Land Records Udhampur-Reasi, Nawab Din today visited Tehsil headquarter Pouni of District Reasi to inspect the progress of newly updated Jamabandies.

Tehsildar Pouni Lekh Raj briefed the Regional Director about the progress of Jamabandies. He apprised that there are 53 Revenue villages in the tehsil Pouni and the updation of the Jamabandies of all the villages stands completed.

During the course of inspection, Several errors were found in the Jamabandies, especially it has been observed that field qanungo has not conducted the partal, (inspection) properly as some of the glaring errors have not been pointed out by him.

The Regional Director directed the Tehsildar Pouni to conduct the partal of all the newly updated Jamabandies, Khewat wise in the light of all the relevant records and rectify the rrors within 3 weeks time.

The Tehsildar Pouni assured to ensure partal and corrections of pointed out error of newly updated Jamabandies within the stipulated time frame.
