‘Recru-Fi’ to begin on August 10

Aligarh: As regular job recruitment drives are hit by Covid-19 pandemic, the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is organising a one-week, online Job Fair, ‘Recru-Fi’ scheduled to be inaugurated on August 10 in collaboration with Enable Careers.

According to Saad Hameed (Training and Placement Officer-General), 24 recruiters are participating in it and approximately 1500 students from different courses of the university have registered so far.

AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor will preside over the function. Brij Nandan Yadav (Senior Executive Director, DLF) and Samar Banerjee (VP and Head HR, Emami Cement) as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.

Chat and video conferencing tools will be used for interactions between job seekers and employers and online workshops will be conducted on ‘CV Design and Interviewing’ for the registered candidates, said Dr Jahangir Alam (Convener of the programme).
