Regional Director reviews progress on digitization of Land Record in Samba

SAMBA : Regional Director, Survey and Land Records Jammu, Bhawani Rakwal, today reviewed the progress of digitization of revenue records in the District Samba, here at a meeting convened at Conference Hall of DC Office.

District Development Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jitender Mishra, Sub Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned revenue officials attended the meeting.

During the review meeting status of Updation of jamabandies, scanning and quality check of records, renegotiation of Masavi with help of field book, Habast of villages, bifurcation of villages, besides other issues were also discussed.

While addressing the revenue officers, the Director stressed upon the officers to pace up the scanning of documents and digitization of the land records.

The revenue officers were directed to follow the set guidelines and procedures while making the entries in the revenue records. He directed to constitute a team of 10 to 12 dedicated officers and ensure completion of the task within the assigned time frame.
